As a Freshman (2012-13): Served a redshirt season wrestling in open competition...posted a record of 5-13...won two matches at the F&M Open...pinned Virginia's Cameron King in the opening round of the National Collegiate Open.
Before Maryland: Wrestled for Dick Messier at DeMatha Catholic...2012 Maryland Independent Schools state tournament champion and FloNationals champion....finalist at National Preps...Beast of the East medalist.
