Biography

As a Freshman (2016-17): Won nine matches at 165 pounds during first collegiate season…won five matches by fall…won first career match at Southeast Open, earning major decision over Brewton-Parker’s Blake Meadows (11/6)…pinned three opponents at Wolfpack Open (11/20)…tied for the fastest fall on the team after pinning American’ Nicholas Carey in 30 seconds (11/20)…won a match over Rowan’s Connor Dixon at F&M Open (1/7)…placed fourth at the Messiah Open while going 4-1, pinning two opponents while majoring another (2/4). 

Before Maryland: New Jersey state placer...NHSCA Junior National All-American...finished high school career 110-28...Seventh Place Beast of the East...Pop and Flo Tournament Champ.  

Personal: Son of Vincent and Michelle DiFilippo...lists biggest sports thrill as winning first state match...sports hero is Derek Jeter...majoring in letters and sciences.
