COLLEGE PARK, Md. - University of Maryland jumped five spots to the No. 20 position in this week's ESPN/USA Today coaches' poll and moved from 25th to 22nd in this week's Associated Press poll.

The Terps improved to 5-0 -- the best start by a Maryland football team since 1978 -- with a 41-21 Atlantic Coast Conference victory over Virginia on Saturday. Maryland now prepares for a Thursday night battle vs. Georgia Tech in Atlanta. The game will be televised nationally by ESPN. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

Georgia Tech is 15th in the coaches' poll, 17th in the AP listing.
