COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland's 8-1 football team jumped five positions to the No. 11 spot in this week's USA Today/ESPN Top 25 poll, released Sunday morning.

In the Associated Press poll, Maryland moved up two spots to the No. 13 position.

The Terps' previous high in the USA Today/ESPN poll, which is voted on by a panel of coaches from across the country, was 12th (Oct. 23). Maryland's highest ranking this season was No. 10 in the Oct. 23 Associated Press poll.
