University of Maryland's athletic department will increase seating capacity at Byrd Stadium by approximately 3,000 for Saturday's Atlantic Coast Conference matchup vs. Clemson with the addition of temporary bleachers at the west end of the stadium.
Of the approximately 3,000 temporary bleacher seats, 50 percent will be reserved for use by university students. The other half are available to the general public for $25 each. The temporary bleachers will be located on the concourse level, directly behind the permanent seating areas at the west end of the stadium. All of the new seating will be general admission.

"Coach Friedgen and the seniors deserve a packed Byrd Stadium for the final home game of the season," said athletics director Deborah A. Yow. "The campus is working together to create additional parking spaces and we encourage fans to come early to avoid traffic delays. We are pleased to also provide about 1,500 additional seats for our students to bring their total to approximately 11,500 for this game."
Additional parking information will be released Tuesday.
