University of Maryland wide receiver Guilian Gary (Horseheads, N.Y.), who was airlifted to R. Adams Crowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore late Tuesday afternoon after suffering a cervical spine injury during football practice, was listed in good condition as of 8:50 p.m., according to Terrapins' team physician Dr. Leigh Ann Curl. Gary was to be transferred to Kernan Hospital in Baltimore where he will remain overnight for observation. He will be re-evaluated Wednesday morning.
Terrapin head athletic trainer Sandy Worth said X-rays, CAT scan and MRI were normal.
Gary was the Terps' leading receiver the past two seasons. He has 64 receptions for 825 yards and seven touchdowns in his three-year career.
