POSITION VACANCY

 

POSITION TITLE:               Assistant/Associate AD for Ticket Operations

 

DEPARTMENT:                   Intercollegiate Athletics

 

CATEGORY:                         Full-time, Exempt (100052)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:          The Assistant/Associate AD for Ticket Operations is responsible for supervising a staff of four full-time employees and three full-time interns, and scheduling the day-to-day operations of the athletic ticket office.  Responsibilities include: managing and controlling ticket inventory; preparing tickets for sale and distribution in accordance with NCAA and ACC regulations; overseeing and monitoring internal controls as related to security issues; conducting and managing audit procedures; maintaining accountability for ticket revenue and compiling information to prepare weekly reports; managing Game Day operations for all events where tickets are sold; serving as contact person for Group Ticket Sales and Corporate Sponsor Tickets; assisting with seating assignments for football and men's basketball; and performing other duties as assigned. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Accounting, or Finance. Requires a minimum of five years of experience in a ticket office, preferably in a Division I collegiate athletics program. Preference will be given to candidates familiar with the Paciolan Ticketing System.  Previous supervisory experience preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills.

 

SALARY:       Commensurate with experience
