POSITION VACANCY
POSITION TITLE: Director of Football Operations
DEPARTMENT: Intercollegiate Athletics
CATEGORY: Full-time, Non-tenured Faculty
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the head coach with the administrative responsibilities of a Division I-A football program. This individual will serve as the liaison between the football office and all other athletic and campus offices, including alumni and booster groups. Responsibilities will include the day-to-day administrative functions associated with coordinating recruiting visits, arranging coaches and team travel, preparing expense reports, scheduling practices and games, and maintaining budgetary controls. This individual will possess the ability to develop and maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni, media, and the general public. Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, ACC and University rules and regulations as well as dedication to full academic development of student-athletes are essential. Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or the Director of Athletics.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. At least two years of collegiate football experience, preferably at the Division I level. Must have knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Strong communication and organizational skills.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
