COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Katie Trotter of the University of Maryland has been named to the National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team, it was announced recently.

Trotter, a rising junior for the Terrapins, was also honored recently with selection to the Atlantic Coast Conference's All-Academic team. She is majoring in business management at Maryland.

A total of 371 women's collegiate golfers at all three NCAA Divisions were honored in the program. The minimum cumulative grade-point average for selection is 3.50 and student-athletes must have competed inat least 50 percent of the institution's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
