POSITION VACANCY

 

 

POSITION TITLE:               Assistant Football Coach (100083)

 

DEPARTMENT:                   Intercollegiate Athletics

 

CATEGORY:                         Faculty Non-tenured Contract

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:           Provide coaching, recruiting, and administrative support to the Head Coach for Football in all aspects of an NCAA Division I-A football program which competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference. This individual will work to maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni, media, and the general public.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor's degree required.  Must have 3-5 years of successful collegiate (Division 1) or professional level coaching experience.  Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations to recruit off-campus is required.  Proven integrity, leadership, and a thorough knowledge of collegiate football are required. Candidate should possess a strong commitment and ability to motivate, teach, counsel, and recruit academically and athletically qualified student-athletes.

 

SALARY:       Commensurate with experience.
