COLLEGE PARK, Md. -
Three Terrapins earned spots on the All-ACC Academic team, which was announced this morning by Commissioner John D. Swofford. Junior Kelly Calkin, senior Kathryn Stepanek, and senior Kathryn Trotter joined 17 other ACC athletes on the list.
Calkin was one of eight golfers who also earned All-ACC recognition this season. She and Trotter made their second appearance on the All-ACC Academic team.
Maryland was one of only four conference schools to place at least three golfers on the squad. Duke and Virginia each had four, while North Carolina also had three.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.
