Video Assistant Job Description

Summary:

The university athletic video department is looking for motivated and responsible people to assist providing video services for Maryland athletic teams.

Qualifications:

·         Good writing skills

·         Organized

·         Computer experience- Windows, MAC OS, Microsoft Office

·         Familiarity with college sports

·         Takes initiative, reliable

·         Ability to work evenings and weekends

·         Preferred-basic knowledge of Final Cut Pro non-linear editing system

·         Preferred- XL2 camera experience

Responsibilities:

·         Assist with the setup and videotaping of games for Olympic sports.

·         Assist breaking down game film for specific sports.

·         Support men's basketball and women's basketball coaches video needs

·         Log football, basketball, lacrosse and other sporting events game highlights.

·         Assist in editing highlight packages on Final Cut Pro.

·         Assist in DVD duplication.

·         Possible travel with Olympic sport teams.

Salary

$7.00 an hour
