Position Available: 

Video Intern - part time (10-20 hours a week)

Summary:

The University of Maryland Athletic Video Department is looking for motivated students to intern this summer/fall at Comcast Center.   

Qualifications:

·         Have a car/license

·         Good writing skills

·         Computer experience- Windows, MAC OS, Microsoft Office

·         Basic knowledge of non-linear editing system - Final Cut Pro

·         Preferred camera experience- XL2

·         Familiarity with college sports

·         Takes initiative, reliable

·         Ability to work evenings and weekends

Responsibilities:

·         Assist in the production of football, basketball, lacrosse, and other sporting events video board shows.

·         Assist in the productions of ACC Select.com game broadcasts.

·         Assist coaches video for various sports.

·         Stream live press conferences on umterps.com

·         Operate camera for games

·         Log football, basketball, lacrosse and other sporting events game highlights.

·         Assist in editing highlight packages on Final Cut Pro.

·         Assist in DVD duplication.

·         Grip/Utility for location shoots.

·         Manage tape library.
