Coming off last week's first-place finish at Richmond, the University of Maryland women's golf team heads to Greenville, N.C., this week to play in the Lady Pirate Intercollegiate, hosted by East Carolina University.
The Terrapins are one of 15 teams playing the par-71, 5,939-yard course at Greenville Country Club. Maryland joins East Carolina, Georgia State, Miami, East Tennessee State, Elon, Gardner-Webb, Georgetown, James Madison, Michigan, UNC Greensboro, Old Dominion, UTEP, William & Mary and Xavier.
All teams involved will play 54 holes, beginning with 36 Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday.
