A number of former Maryland football players will put their talents on display Wednesday for an array of professional scouts.
The 24 players scheduled to work out for NFL teams on the Maryland campus include DB Kevin Barnes, LB Moise Fokou, TE Dan Gronkowski, WR Darrius Heyward-Bey, and OL Jaimie Thomas and Edwin Williams. Those six players participated in last month's NFL Combine in Indianapolis.
For the other 18 Terps, Wednesday is the time to make an impression on the pro scouts.
Players will demonstrate their ability in a number of drills including the vertical jump, broad jump, bench press, 60-yard shuttle and 40-yard dash.
Pro Timing Day is closed to the general public, but open to the media.
