COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland softball team will play host to the Maryland Round Robin tournament this weekend. Princeton, Hampton, Villanova and Utah will all come to College Park to play.

Games begin at 10 a.m. Friday. The Terps (15-9) play Princeton (3-7) at 12:15 Friday. On Saturday, Maryland will play Utah (10-13) at 11:15 a.m. and Villanova (6-9) at 1:30 p.m. The Terrapins will round out the weekend with Hampton (5-13) at 12:15 p.m. and Villanova at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Admission for all of the weekend's games is free. Maryland will also be hosting the NCAA Women's Basketball First Rounds Sunday in the Comcast Center, so fans should be advised to plan accordingly for parking and traffic.

The Terrapins are currently on a six-game win streak, after four straight wins in the USF Under Armour Showcase over the weekend in Clearwater, Fla., and the two wins over Fordham Wednesday.

Head coach Laura Watten notched career win 500 Wednesday night with the Terrapins' 7-1 win over Fordham in game one of a midweek doubleheader. Senior Kerry Hickey threw 6.0 shutout innings in game one before allowing the Rams one run in the top of the seventh.

Watten is now 501-342 (.594) all-time in her 14-year career as a head coach. In her six years in College Park, she is 179-135 (.570).

In Wednesday's second game, junior Kendra Knight allowed the Rams three runs in the top of the first. She rallied with seven strikeouts in the final five innings and Maryland scored two runs in each of the third and fourth innings, as well as one in the fifth, for the 5-4 win.
