POSITION TITLE: Development Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Intercollegiate Athletics
CATEGORY: Full-time, Exempt (100064)
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Development Coordinator will work as a member of the athletics development staff, reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director for Development. Specific responsibilities will include managing day-to-day front line office operations including researching various topics and gathering relevant data to inform strategic communication plans, answering incoming calls, managing master schedule of all Terrapin Club related activities, activation of some member correspondence materials, and providing general office orientation for staff. Will provide front-line customer relations to the general public, prospective students, parents, alumni, donors, and/or campus visitors and answers routine inquiries, including questions received over the phone, in person, through email, or on-line via the internet. Provides superior and professional outreach to current club members, season ticket holders, and potential members by understanding the needs and making the appropriate recommendations to exceed their expectations. Manages, implements, and markets the Terrapin Club Young Alumni and Student Organization initiatives while designing the appropriate structure of such. Coordinates member relations logistics at all football games, men's basketball games and special events, performing service and logistical duties. Maintains records of leads and service issues in Customer Relationship Management Tool (Paciolan). Manage all administrative aspects of M Club, including assisting with M Club Membership Campaign; reconciling monthly membership transactions; assisting with implementation of M Club Events and working with the Board of Directors to support all meetings, and administrative functions for the group.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree required. One to three years administration and customer service experience required, preferably in a fast paced, self-motivated environment. Candidates must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, must be attentive to detail and accurate in record keeping and possess an ability to work with a diverse constituency. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Paciolan, and Advance are preferred.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
