POSITION VACANCY

POSITION TITLE:              Assistant Coach, Men's Golf

DEPARTMENT:                  Intercollegiate Athletics

CATEGORY:                       Full-time, Non-tenured Contractual Faculty (100115)

RESPONSIBILITIES:  The University of Maryland is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Men's Golf Coach.  This position will assist the Director of Golf with recruiting, coaching, coordinating academic and personal support, and all necessary administrative work.  Will be expected to develop and maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni and the general public.  Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, ACC and University rules and regulations as well as dedication to full academic development of student-athletes are essential. 

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree required. Minimum of 2 to 3 year's experience in collegiate golf coaching preferred.  Applicant should possess coaching experience, recruiting and competitive tournament playing experience. Experience with TrackMan technology preferred.
