POSITION VACANCY

POSITION TITLE:              Video Operations Coordinator

DEPARTMENT:                  Intercollegiate Athletics

CATEGORY:                       Full-time, Exempt (100056)

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Under the direct supervision of the Director of Video Services, the Video Operations Coordinator manages the production of all TerpVision videoboard shows for games and events held at Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium and Comcast Center.  The videoboard shows include but are not limited to Maryland football, men's and women's basketball, men's lacrosse, commencement ceremonies and special events.  The Video Operations Coordinator is also responsible for managing the live internet streaming of post-game press conferences, select Olympic sports games and other special events.   Specific duties include: recruit, staff and supervise the game day crew; manage TerpVision budget (crew expenses); direct TerpVision shows; act as game day contact for TV networks; assist in the development of game day formats; help develop and produce in-game video content; upload game highlights to umterps.com; maintain equipment; and direct the student staff that broadcasts select Olympic sports games via umterps.com.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.  A minimum of 5 years of experience in arena videoboard production, preferably at NCAA FBS level athletic programs.

SALARY:      Commensurate with experience.
