On Kelly: Regarded as the fastest player on the forward line … brings a tremendous amount of NCAA championship play and postseason experience to the squad … entering her senior year, she has played on six ACC (field hockey and lacrosse) and four NCAA (field hockey and lacrosse) championship teams … the only student-athlete at Maryland to play on multiple NCAA and ACC championship teams in the past three years.

As a junior in 2000: Contributed in all 23 of the Terps' contests, starting four … paced reserves with a career-high seven goals and one assist for 15 points ... finished seventh in the NCAA's second-rated scoring offense in points, seventh in goals and sixth in shot percentage … recorded a pair of scores and the game-winner at Rutgers (Oct. 11) in Missy Meharg's 200th win as a head coach ... also added the game-winning goal in Maryland's 11-2 romp over Radford (Sept. 17) … recorded her second NCAA tournament goal in Maryland's 9-1 whipping of New Hampshire (Nov. 11) in the first round … netted the Terps' lone score at Old Dominion (Oct. 15) … solo assist came in the Terps' 8-0 rout of Delaware (Sept. 9).
As a sophomore in 1999: Started a career-high 13 games, including six of the first seven to open the season … scored her first career NCAA tournament goal against Lafayette in the Terps' 6-0 victory (Nov. 13) … recorded her first career assist against Georgetown (Sept. 18) in the first round of the Terrapin Invitational … second assist came against Richmond in the season finale (Nov. 1) … played in six of Maryland's seven post-season games.
As a freshman in 1998: Recorded her first collegiate goal in the season-opener against Richmond (Sept. 2) … scored her first career game-wining goal in the Terps' 1-0 win at Wake Forest (Sept. 26) … missed five games due to a stress fracture, but returned to action in the ACC and NCAA tournaments.
Before Maryland: An All-Met selection by the Washington Post as a junior and a senior ... an All-Met honorable mention selection as a sophomore ... named all-county her junior and senior seasons by the Montgomery Journal ... scored 18 goals and tallied three assists in her senior season ... had a combined total of 43 goals her final three years ... played on the Chesapeake Futures Under-19 team that won the gold medal at the National Futures Tournament as a senior.
