Terrapin Sports Marketing, the exclusive marketing and multi-media rights partner of University of Maryland Athletics and a division of CBS Collegiate Sports Properties, is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Sales Assistant in College Park, MD.

Job Summary
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in client contract fulfillment, sales support and perform other tasks as required to help insure the success of Terrapin Sports Marketing. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with day to day tasks necessary to insure the overall success of Terrapin Sports Marketing.
• Assist in fulfilling benefits per corporate partner agreements.
• Assist in preparing sales packages/presentation materials for all Terrapin Sports Marketing sales staff.
• Assist Terrapin Sports Marketing sales staff with prospecting.
• Assist in creating, planning and implementing Terrapin Sports Marketing special events.
• Assist in implementing sponsor promotions, including coordination of in-game promotions with Maryland Athletics.
• Assist Terrapin Sports Marketing staff with ticket and hospitality management.
• Assist Terrapin Sports Marketing staff with game day hospitality events and suite management
• Be available on game day Saturdays, evening athletic events and coaches' radio shows.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and reports in allotted time frame.
• Represent CBS Collegiate Sports Properties, Terrapin Sports Marketing and the University of Maryland in a professional manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA or BS degree required
• Outstanding communication skills are essential for interactions with clients, operational leaders and other senior executives
• Must show proof of automobile insurance with $100,000/$300,000 policy limits.
• Must successfully pass a background check.

Compensation includes a monthly stipend.
