COLLEGE PARK, Md. - As part of Maryland's week long homecoming celebration, head coach Randy Edsall and the Maryland football team will be on hand for the 2014 Homecoming Pre-Party and Pep Rally at McKeldin Mall Friday, Oct. 17.

Coach Edsall and the team will take the stage at 6 p.m. to fire up the crowd before the Terps take on the Iowa Hawkeyes Saturday at noon at Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium.

The Pre-Party and Pep Rally will run from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Attendees can enjoy a rockwall, inflatables, face painting and carnival games with a chance to win Beats Headphones, a Nike Fuelband, gift certificates to Chipotle, Starbucks and Target, and much more. Carnival style concessions such as funnel cakes, popcorn, cotton candy and hot dogs will also be available. There will also be t-shirt giveaways along with other free Maryland Homecoming items.

For attendees 21 years of age and older, a beer garden will be on site.
