SAN FRANCISCO – Maryland head football coach Randy Edsall kicked off bowl festivities in San Francisco Thursday afternoon as he and Stanford head coach David Shaw met with several media outlets to promote the Terps' upcoming matchup with the Cardinal in the Foster Farms Bowl on December 30.

Edsall sat down with a member of the San Francisco Chronicle and the Bay Area News Group to start the afternoon.

After grabbing a bite to eat, they traveled to KGO-TV and the Pac-12 studios in downtown San Francisco. The two coaches closed the media tour with a stop at Sports Byline USA and an interview on KNBR radio.

Edsall and director of athletics Kevin Anderson will conclude the trip to the West Coast with the Foster Farms Bowl reception at II Fornaio.

Maryland will take on Stanford at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., December 30 at 10 p.m. ET.
