Associate AD /Senior Associate AD for Business

The Associate AD/Senior Associate AD for Business is a member of the senior management team in Intercollegiate Athletics, reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and assists in the overall financial and business management of the department. Responsibilities include: supervising the day-to-day operations of the business office; monitoring of monthly financial statements; serving as department's liaison with the internal and external auditors; approving all expense reports and advance requests according to University and NCAA guidelines; authorizing all department expenditures, including payroll; oversee all foundation accounts, including deposits, disbursements, and account reconciliation; and performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of progressively responsible managerial experience in business operations required. Proven administrative and supervisory experience required. Ability to work effectively with diverse groups. Master's degree in Athletic Administration, Business Management, Accounting, or related field preferred. A minimum of five years of progressively responsible managerial experience in business operations, preferably in a collegiate athletic program, particularly NCAA Division I-A programs. Knowledge of NCAA regulations is strongly preferred. Preference will be given to candidates familiar with personal computers, especially spreadsheet programs and financial accounting packages. Strong oral and written communication skills.
