COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland plays host to its first-ever Big Ten game when it welcomes 20th-ranked Ohio State to Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium for a 12:05 p.m. kickoff Saturday. It is the Terps first all-time meeting with the Buckeyes. Its 37-15 victory over Indiana Saturday marked Maryland's fifth consecutive road win dating back to last season. It is Maryland's longest road winning streak since the Terps won five straight stretching from the 2001-02 seasons.
Maryland has scored a total of 184 points so far this season, the third-highest total in the Big Ten. The Terps are averaging 36.8 points per game, which is on pace for the highest scoring average in school history. In addition, the Maryland defense picked off its sixth pass of the season against the Hoosiers. Along with five fumble recoveries, the Terps have generated 11 takeaways. It is the third-highest total in the Big Ten and is tied for 14th nationally.

Breakin' Down Brown
Quarterback C.J. Brown passed for 163 yards and a touchdown and rushed for a score in Maryland's victory on Saturday. Brown's five-yard touchdown run was the 22nd of his career, which is the seventh-highest total in school history, and his 29-yard touchdown pass was his 27th, seventh most all-time. Brown is averaging 13.6 yards per completion this season, which ranks 29th nationally. Brown ranks fifth in the Big Ten averaging 252.4 yards of total offense per game.
- Against the Hoosiers, Brown increased his career passing total to 4,080 yards becoming only the 10th quarterback in school history to eclipse the 4,000-yard plateau. In addition, with 1,428 career rushing yards, Brown is one of nine active FBS players to pass for 4,000 or more yards and rush for 1,000 or more yards in a career.
- Brown has eight career 100-yard rushing performances. It is the most all-time for a Terrapin quarterback and is tied with former Maryland running back Da'Rel Scott (2007-2010) for the fourth-highest total in program history. In addition, Brown's total is tied for fourth nationally among active FBS quarterbacks.
- On Saturday, Brown accounted for 185 yards of total offense increasing his career total to 5,508 yards. He ranks fifth on Maryland's all-time list and 17th nationally among active players.
On The Offense
ALL-PURPOSE DIGGS
Wide receiver Stefon Diggs leads the team in receptions (29) and receiving yards (398) through the first five contests. On Saturday, Diggs totaled 112 all-purpose yards, all as a receiver. Diggs ranks second among active FBS career leaders in all-purpose yards per game averaging 148.87 yards.
- Diggs has seven career 100-yard receiving games, which is tied for second in school history. Jermaine Lewis (1992-95) holds the record with 15.
- His 3,424 career all-purpose yards is the 22nd-highest active total nationally.
- He ranks sixth in Maryland history with 1,833 career receiving yards.
- Diggs is averaging 5.8 receptions per game and 79.6 receiving yards per game, which is tied for third and seventh in the Big Ten, respectively.
LONG'S B1G DEBUT
- Terrapin wide out Deon Long made his mark in the Terps' first-ever Big Ten contest totaling a career-high 10 catches for 108 yards.
- It marked the most receptions for a Terp since Stefon Diggs had 11 at BC in 2012.
- Long is averaging 50.0 ypg, which ranks second on the team.

- Maryland has scored 20 or more points in nine consecutive games dating back to the 2013 season.
- It is the longest streak since Maryland scored over 20 in 13 straight games from the end of the 2000 season (11/18) through the 2001 season (1/2).

RETURN SPECIALISTS
- For his career, William Likely has returned two punts for touchdowns, most recently against WVU (9/13). He is tied for third in school history.
- Likely's 15.9 yards per return for his career is currently a program record.
- On kick returns, Stefon Diggs is currently Maryland's all-time leader in yards per return averaging 27.3.
- Diggs' per return average of 27.3 is the 16th-highest average among active FBS players.
- For his career, Diggs has 1,200 kick return yards, a mark which is good for fifth in program history.

Junior kicker Brad Craddock, a member of the Lou Groza Award watch list, connected on three field goals Saturday. Craddock now has 41 career field goals and has scored 205 career points..
- Craddock's 41 career field goals ranks fifth in school history.
- His 205 career points is seventh all-time at Maryland and the fifth most for a kicker.
- Craddock is averaging 10.4 points per game, which leads the conference amongst kickers.
- Craddock is one of nine kickers nationally who are perfect on the season (10 of 10).
- The junior has converted 16 straight field goal attempts. That marks ties the program record held by Dale Castro set in the 1979 season.
SECOND HALF ADJUSTMENTS
- The Maryland defense has surrendered 99 points this season, but only 33 in the second half.
- In addition, the Terps have only allowed nine points in the third quarter.
IN THE BACKFIELD
Sophomore linebacker Yannick Ngakoue has accumulated 11.5 TFL in 18 career games. Of his 17 total tackles this season, seven have been for a loss.
- Ngakoue's seven tackles for loss is tied for the most in the Big Ten.
- Ngakoue is averaging 1.40 tackles for loss per game, which is tied for second in the conference.
