COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland women's golf team will open up the spring portion of its schedule when it heads to the eighth annual 3M Jaguar Intercollegiate from March 13-15 at Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga.
The three-day tourney will begin with round-one action on Friday, March 13 with tee times going off one and ten from 9:30 - 11:50 a.m. Round two on Saturday is the same format as the first round and round three on Sunday will be a shotgun format beginning at 9:00 a.m.
The Terps will join host-GRU Augusta, Chattanooga, Coastal Carolina, Columbia, East Tennessee, Furman, Kennesaw State, Lamar, Marshall, Mercer, Troy, and UNCG in the tournament field.
Maryland – under the helm of first-year head coach Diana Cantu – is led by senior Juliet Vongphoumy, who had three top-10 finishes and four top-20 finishes and averaged a team-best round score of 73.07 during the fall season.
