AUGUSTA, Ga.—The Maryland women's golf team capped off the second round of the 3M Jaguar Intercollegiate at Forest Hills Golf Club, tallying a total score of 298 for a two-day total of 608.
The Terrapins remain in eighth place. Coastal Carolina now sits in first place, followed by Furman and Kennesaw State.
Senior Juliet Vongphoumy once again led the way for Maryland with a second round score of 75 (+4) and is now tied for 16th place in the individual field with a total score of 149.
Vongphoumy is joined in 16th place by junior Heidi Baek, who shot a 73 (+3), in today's second round.
Malene Krolboll Hansen, of Coastal Carolina, leads the individual field with a total score of 137 after shooting a 65 (-6) today. Furman's Alice Chen sits in second place in the individual field with a total of 140 after shooting a 68 (-3) in today's round.
The three-day tourney will continue tomorrow with the third and final round teeing off at 9 a.m.
