COLUMBUS, Ohio - Sophomore Panitta Yusabai led the Maryland women's golf team with a two-round score of 148 at the Lady Buckeye Spring Invite on the Scarlet Course of The Ohio State University Golf Course Saturday.
Yusabai finished four-over par with a 74 in each round to lead the Terrapins. She is tied for ninth heading into Sunday's action.
Juliet Vongphoumy and Heidi Baek are tied for 28th after posting a 77 in the first round and a 76 in the second for a 153 two-round score. Brooke Kochevar is also tied for 28th with a 75 in round one and a 78 in round two.
Kavita Sehmi recorded a 75 in the second round after struggling in the first to cap Saturday's play tied for 48th.
The Terps are currently in seventh place, one stroke shy of Michigan and two from Indiana, heading into the final round on Sunday morning.
