Field Hockey to Play Twice on BTN

COLLEGE PARK, Md.  – The Big Ten champion Maryland field hockey team will play two of its regular season games on the nationally-televised Big Ten Network this season.

The Terrapins' Sept. 18 game vs. Northwestern and their Sept. 25 matchup with Michigan will be shown across the country on the Big Ten Network, BTN2Go.com and the BTN2Go app. Maryland will be featured in two of the six field hockey regular season contests on the network.

The Big Ten tournament semifinals on Friday, Nov. 6 will be on the Big Ten Network, as well as the Big Ten tournament championship on Sunday, Nov. 8.

BTN is available on all major pay-tv providers, including DIRECTV, Verizon FiOS, AT&T U-verse, Cablevision Optimum, Charter Communications, Comcast Xfinity, Cox Communications, Mediacom, Time Warner Cable, RCN, WOW!, and about 300 additional video providers across North America.

Maryland played four games on the Big Ten Network last year, the most televised games in program history.
