CHICAGO - Maryland had three players named to the Big Ten Conference Players to Watch List, announced by the league office.
Heidi Baek, Panitta Yusabai and Ludovica Farina were tabbed to the list.
Baek, a senior from Suffolk, England, improved her average over five strokes from the fall season to the spring in 2014-15. She racked up three top-20 performances on the year, including tying for 12th at Briar's Creek.
Yusabai, a junior from Pattata, Thailand, is looking for a breakout season in College Park after competing in nine events for the Terps as a sophomore in 2014-15.
Farina, a freshman from Siracusa, Italy, is one of two newcomers for the Terps this season. She was a quarterfinalist at the Girls' British Open Amateur Championship and took second and fifth, respectively, at the International Junior Open of Belgium and European Ladies Team Amateur Championship in 2014.
The Terps begin the 2015-16 season at the Cougar Classic on Sept. 12 in Charleston, S.C.
