COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Each week during the 2015-16 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week. This week's Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week is Kristen Confroy of women's basketball.

Confroy averaged 15.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and shot 62.5 percent (10-14) from outside the arc in the Terps' two conference wins this week. Against No. 24 Northwestern, she went 8-10 from outside the arc, including 7-7 to start, and tied the program record for threes made in a game, set by Katie Rutan, Kristi Toliver and Tiffany Brown. She set career highs in points (24), rebounds (10) and notched her first career double-double.

At Michigan, she made two threes to start the game and get Maryland off to a strong start. She helped lock down on the defensive end and helped the Terps to a 23-5 run in the second half to seal the road win.
