COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland football team will travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan to face the Wolverines on November 5 in a game that will kick at 3:30 p.m. The game will air on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2 and will be announced following Saturday's games.
The Terps will be seeking their second straight win over the Wolverines in Ann Arbor, as Maryland upended Michigan, 23-16, in 2014. Maryland tallied the only two touchdowns in the fourth quarter of that game and a 1-yard scoring plunge from running back Wes Brown with under six minutes remaining in the game sealed the win for the Terps.
Maryland (5-2, 2-2 B1G) is coming of a thrilling 28-17 win over Michigan State on Saturday. Senior quarterback Perry Hills completed 21 of 27 pass attempts for 200 yards in his return to the starting line-up. He connected with sophomore D.J. Moore and senior Levern Jacobs on scoring strikes.
Sophomore running back Ty Johnson led Maryland's dominant rushing attack with 115 yards on nine carries, while rookie running back Lorenzo Harrison III finished with 105 yards on 17 carries en route to being named Big Ten Freshman of the Week on Monday. The Terrapins amassed 447 total yards of offense against the Spartans.
Michigan enters this weekend's action ranked No. 2 in the nation. The Wolverines are 7-0 on the year and coming off a 41-8 rout of Illinois.
The Terps travel to Indiana this Saturday for a 3:30 p.m. kick, while the Wolverines travel to Michigan State for a noon kick.
