LOUISVILLE - The Maryland women's golf team jumped up a spot to No. 8 in the overall team standings Monday at the Cardinal Cup at the University of Louisville golf course.
Sophomore Ludovica Scandroglio (79-73/152) led the Terps with a team-low single-round score of 73 to sit tied for 14th with one round to go Tuesday.
Freshman Xiaolin Tian (78-76/152) is tied for 26th while sophomore Ludovica Farina is tied for 32nd (78-77/155).
Seniors Panitta Yusabai (80-79/159) and Lauren Salazar (80-80/160) wrapped up second-round action in 53rd and 59th.
The Terps conclude the fall season Tuesday morning with third round play.
