Another week in the NFL, another week in which Stefon Diggs etches his name into the record books. The former Terps wideout has been on an absolute tear recently.
Diggs hauled in another 13 receptions for a second consecutive week. This time, he more than doubled his yardage output, improving from 80 yards to 164 yards, as the Redskins ousted the Vikings, 26-20, in his return to the DMV.
The sophomore standout had broken many Vikings records already, but now he is accomplishing feats that no one else in NFL history has accomplished. Diggs is the first player in NFL history to record 13 catches in consecutive weeks.
Diggs now ranks ninth in the NFL in yards (710) and third in receptions (61), despite missing a game this season. He is on pace to eclipse the 100-reception milestone.
Diggs wasn't the only former Maryland receiver to have a big impact in the Vikings-Redskins matchup. Veteran tight end Vernon Davis is still producing big-time plays in his 11th season.
Davis caught a 38-yard touchdown pass from Kirk Cousins down the sidelines as a part of a three-catch, 66-yard performance.
He now ranks 13th amongst all tight ends in receiving yards (382), and 2nd amongst all tight ends (min. 20 receptions) in yards per reception.
