INDIANAPOLIS—Junior Alexandra Papell was outstanding on the second day of the Big Ten Tournament for the Maryland women's golf team.
Papell ended the first day in 17th place after shooting a 71 (-1) for the round. The junior replicated her score on day two, finishing the second round with another score of 71 (-1). This landed her 10th on the leaderboard with an overall score of 142 (-2) after two days.
Freshman Ludovica Scandroglio ended the day with a second round score of a 78 (+6). This brings her total score to a 151 (+7) through two rounds. She now sits at tied for 56th for the tournament.
Senior Brooke Kochevar improved on her 79 (+7) first round score by finishing day two with a 75 (+3). She now ranks tied for 77th for tournament.
Ludovica Farina and Jessica Gregory are 81st and 83rd, respectively after two rounds of the Big Ten Championship.
The final day of the Big Ten Championship starts at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, with coverage kicking off at 11:00 a.m. on BTN.
