COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Turtle Party has announced that Testudo has officially entered the race to become the 45th President of the United States. Testudo confirmed the nomination on his Twitter page Wednesday morning.

Since his birth in 1932 in College Park, Md., Testudo has dedicated his life to service in the name of the University of Maryland and Maryland Athletics. Perhaps the ultimate testament to his character is the fact that while he has become a beloved figure across the nation, he has always stayed true to his Chesapeake Bay roots.
Testudo has a proven track record and will run on four pillars which serve as the base of his campaign platform. Each pillar is important to the Turtle Party's mission to educate, develop and serve student-athletes through a culture of academic and athletic excellence.
