#11 Maryland Completes First Round at Lady Paladin

GREENVILLE, S.C. - The No. 11-ranked Maryland women's golf team sits tied for eighth place after round one of the Lady Paladin Invitational at Furman University Golf Course Friday.

Freshman Xiaolin Tian shot a 71 to lead the Terps and is tied for 12th after the first round. Sophomore Ludovica Farina finished her opening round at par to tie for 17th.

Panitta Yusabai and Lauren Salazar each posted a 75 to tie for 48th.

Host-Furman leads all teams with a seven-under after first round action.

The Terps, who shot five-over as a team on Friday, begin second round play on Saturday morning.
