COLLEGE PARK, Md. – University of Maryland standout wide receiver DJ Moore has been added to the 2017 Biletnikoff Award Watch List, it was announced on Wednesday. The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the most outstanding receiver in college football.

Moore currently leads the Big Ten in touchdown catches (7), reception yards (624), reception yards per game (104.0) and receptions per game (7.3). The Philadelphia native is coming off the best game of his career against Northwestern last weekend, posting career-highs in catches (12) and receiving yards (210) while scoring two touchdowns. It marked the most receiving yards in a game for a Terp since Torrey Smith tallied 224 against NC State in 2010.

Against Northwestern, Moore passed Terp great Stefon Diggs for sole possession of fourth place on Maryland's career touchdown reception list with 16. Moore ranks 10th all-time at Maryland with 110 career receptions and 11th all-time with 1,610 career receiving yards. The junior has caught a pass in 27 straight games, the longest active streak in the Big Ten and longest streak for a Terp since Smith finished his career with a catch in 30 straight contests.

The Biletnikoff Award recipient is selected by the highly distinguished Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee, a group of prominent college football journalists, commentators, and former receivers.

The 2017 Biletnikoff Award winner will be presented live on December 7, 2017, on The Home Depot College Football Awards Show to be broadcast 7:00 - 9:00pm (EST) on ESPN. College Football Hall of Famer, Heisman Trophy winner, and Biletnikoff Award voter Desmond Howard will present the 2017 Biletnikoff Award winner on the show.

The Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation, Inc., will announce the 10 Biletnikoff Award semifinalists on November 13, 2017, following the vote by the members of the Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee.
