How was your first semester at Maryland?

My first semester in college was both fun and challenging. I was able to learn a lot about time management with school work and softball.

What attracted you to the University of Maryland?

The overall pride that UMD has really drew me to the school. I also really like that I have the opportunity to play in the Big 10. Maryland overall is a beautiful campus and made my decision coming here very easy.

What is your favorite memory from playing softball?

I played for a travel team out of Pennsylvania and we traveled to play in Boulder, Colorado my junior year. Usually in tournaments like this, California teams end up in the Championship game because they have the opportunity to practice year round on dirt. We had played a really tough night game the day before we had to fight to make it to the championship game. We ended up having to play one of the top California teams our first game and we were able to beat them and make it all the way to the championship game. Unfortunately, we came up short from the win, but it was the first time in a long time that an east coast team had made it to the final.

How has it been getting to know your teammates?

Getting to know my teammates has been really easy. We all get along really well and they were all very welcoming to us freshmen. The best part is being apart of such an amazing family, I couldn't imagine having to play without these girls.

Are you a good cook, what's your favorite thing to make?

Well I'm not a really a good cook…

What is the best vacation you have ever been on?

Honestly I have never been on vacation other than traveling for softball. So I guess one of my favorite place I've ever been would be Huntington Beach, California.

If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be?

Money but who wouldn't.
