COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland women's golf team will head to Port St. Lucie, Fla., Feb. 20-21 to compete in the Central District Invitational. The tournament, hosted by Michigan State, will be held at the St. Lucie Trail Golf Club, a par-72, 6265-yard course.
The Terps will be a part of a 14-team field that includes Big Ten rivals Michigan State, Nebraska, Iowa and Rutgers as well as Augusta, College of Charleston, Furman, Louisville, Ole Miss, Toledo, North Carolina, UNC Wilmington and Memphis.
Senior Panitta Yusabai, who tied for first place in last weekend's Lady Puerto Rico Classic and was awarded Big Ten Golfer of the Week, will lead Maryland's lineup. Xiaolin Tian, Ludovica Scandroglio, Alexandra Papell and Ludovica Farina will complete the lineup for this weekend's tournament.
