Terps Announce 2016-17 Schedule

Terps Head to Lady Gator Invitational

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland women's golf team will play in Florida for the second time in three weeks on Saturday to face off in the Lady Gator Invitational.

The University of Florida will be hosting the tournament at the Mark Bostick Golf Course: a par 70, 6,002 yard course in Gainesville, Florida.

The lady Terps will compete against 13 teams this weekend, three of them nationally ranked. No. 6 Florida, No. 12 Duke and No. 23 UCF highlight the field while Campbell, Clemson, Florida International, Kansas, Mercer, Troy, USF, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin will be the other competitors in the event.

Freshman Xiaolin Tian, who led the Terps at the Central District Invitational, will lead Maryland's lineup for this weekend's Lady Gator Invitaional. Also included will be seniors Panitta Yusabai and Alexandra Papell as well as sophomores Ludovica Scandroglio and Ludovica Farina. Senior Lauren Salazar will also travel with the team to compete in the tournament individually.
