NACMA Release

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland marketing department has been named a finalist for the 2017 Marketing Team of the Year Award (MTOYA), presented by SuperFanU. The winner will be announced during the 26th Annual NACMA Convention, set to take place June 12-15 in Orlando, Florida.

“Our team is truly honored and thrilled to be a finalist again for the third year in a row,” said Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing Lauren Taylor. “I am so proud of how hard our group worked to keep pushing the envelope to be the best. We couldn't have done it without the support of many other units and the entire Maryland Athletics family."

Maryland was nominated as a top three finalist for the third year in a row for team of the year, after being named the 2015 NACMA MTOYA. Joining Maryland in the top-three this year is Mississippi State University and University of Oregon.
