ROSEMONT Ill. –  Junior Nike Lorenz, sophomore Bodil Keus and freshman Bibi Donraadt of No. 3 Maryland (12-0, 3-0 B1G) swept the Big Ten field hockey weekly honors Monday.
 
Lorenz was voted Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season. Keus was named Defensive Player of the Week for the first time this season and second week in her career. This marks Donraadt's first career Freshman of the Week honor.
 
The trio helped Maryland limited the nation's top-ranked scoring offense to just two goals and one penalty corner as the Terps posted a 4-2 victory over No. 2 UConn Sunday in Storrs.
 
Over the game's first 60 minutes, the Terrapins held the nation's top scoring offense scoreless with just five shots and zero penalty corners. Not to be overlooked, the Maryland offense, who is ranked second in the nation in goals, erupted for four in the first 39 minutes on Sunday, including three in the first half.
 
Keus scored the Terps' first two goals, both off of penalty corners, in the first 15 minutes of the match. Leading 2-0, Donraadt added Maryland's third goal when she tipped in a shot off a penalty corner in the 25^th minute. The Terps led 3-0 at halftime.
 
Lorenz scored Maryland's fourth and final goal just 3:30 into the second half when she brought the ball into the circle and scored from the right side. Lorenz and Donraadt each picked up an assist as well.

Maryland is 8-0 against ranked teams this season, including 3-0 against the top-5, and is off to its best start since 2015 when it started 15-0.
 
Next, the Terps will return home to host No. 17 Rutgers (7-3, 1-3 B1G) Friday at 4 p.m. at the Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex.
