COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland will host Illinois on Saturday, Oct. 27 at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium in a game that will kick at 3:30 p.m. and air on the Big Ten Network, the Big Ten announced on Monday.
 
Maryland stands at 4-2 (2-1 Big Ten) so far this season and is coming off a homecoming 34-7 win over Rutgers this past weekend. The Terps 2-1 conference mark ties the best start Maryland has had through three games since joining the conference. 

Illinois is 3-3 (1-2 Big Ten) through six games this season.  Like the Terps, Illinois has beaten Rutgers this season in Big Ten play, while losing to Purdue and Penn State. The Illini will travel to Madison this weekend to play No. 23 Wisconsin. 
 
The Oct. 27 meeting will be the first ever between Maryland and Illinois. 
 
This Saturday, Maryland will travel to Kinnick Stadium to face No. 19 Iowa (5-1, 2-1 Big Ten) at noon on ESPN2.
