COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Each week during the 2018-19 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week. This week's Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week is freshman Bibi Donraadt the field hockey team.
Freshman Bibi Donraadt, led the Terrapins' offense with a goal and two assists in a 6-0 win over Michigan State Saturday in the Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinals. In the 13th minute, she assisted on Bodil Keus' goal off a penalty corner for a 2-0 lead. Twenty-eight seconds later, she teamed up with Mayv Clune for the Terps' third goal. Donraadt took the initial shot off the 2-on-1 chance, then deflected the saved ball to Clune for the score. With 2:08 to play, Donraadt sliced through three Spartan defenders to score off a back handed shot from just inside the circle.
