Terps in Second after Strong Start at B1G Championships

MAINEVILLE, Ohio - The Maryland women's golf team sits in second place after day one at the 2018 Big Ten Championships at TPC River's Bend Friday.

Junior Ludovica Farina led the Terps today with a one-under-par 71. She is tied for fifth in the individual standings.

Freshman Laura Van Respaille and sophomore Xiaolin Tian both shot even-par 72s. They are tied for 12th in the individual standings.

Junior Ludovica Scandroglio shot a one-over-par 73, freshman Virunpat Olankitkunchai shot a two-over-par 74, and freshman Charlotte Lafourcade shot a four-over-par 76.

The Terps return to action Saturday morning for the second round of the championships.
