The University of Maryland is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Coach, Men's Golf. The Assistant Coach, Men's Golf will support the Head Coach with the organization, development and implementation of a nationally competitive, Division I intercollegiate program. Responsibilities will include assisting the Head Coach with recruiting, coaching, coordinating team travel, and the administration of the team budget. The Assistant Coach will be expected to develop and maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni and the general public. Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations as well as dedication to full academic development of student-athletes are essential and perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree required. A minimum of three (3) years of collegiate playing experience in golf at the NCAA Division I level or golf teaching experience is required.
Experience with TrackMan technology preferred.
