Director, Terpvision and Video Operations

The Director, Terpvision and Video Operations will work as a member of the ICA Broadcasting and Production staff, under the direct supervision of the Asst. AD, Broadcasting and Production. This position will produce and manage all TerpVision video board shows for games and events held at XFINITY Center and Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium. This position will also oversee A/V infrastructure installations and equipment maintenance, including but not limited to: video boards and control room equipment. Responsibilities also include: crewing, overseeing women's basketball and Olympic Sports Video Board production as well as productions of special events and to perform other duties as assigned.

Education (include licenses, certification, etc.):
Bachelor's degree required in RTVF, Video Production, graphics, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum five years experience with arena video board production.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Expert level experience with professional, live event broadcast equipment including: Daktronics displays and other video board displays, switchers, routers, replay systems, camera systems, audio systems, and other video equipment. Demonstrated proficiency with non-linear editing (Premiere), motion graphics programs (After Effects), and graphics programs (Photoshop and Illustrator). Proficiency with all Mac systems, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Must be able to work flexible hours, including frequent evenings and weekends. Must have the ability to produce and create new and exciting video and graphical content for video board display. Preference will be given to those candidates with collegiate or professional sports production experience in a control room and live event production environment.
