COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Current Terrapin Skye Joegriner and former Terrapin Ali Campbell will compete in the Croatia Cup this weekend with the U.S. National Indoor Team in Sveti Ivan Zelina, Croatia.

Theseven-team round-robin tournament will include both the US National Indoor Team and the Under-21 Indoor Team, along with Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia and Croatia's U-21 team. The Croatia Cup will mark the first international contest for USA since the Indoor Hockey World Cup in Berlin, Germany in February 2018. USA finished 10th in the squad's first-ever appearance at the event and currently are ranked No. 12 in the FIH Hero World Rankings.

Team USA will face its own Under-21 team at 8 a.m. Friday, then will play the Croatian Under-21 team at 12:40 p.m. Hungary, Slovakia and Slovenia are also playing.

"I'm really excited for this tournament," Joegriner said. "I love the team and it's great to have a former Terp in Ali here with me. It's my first international tournament and I've heard that the other teams are very fierce. I am just really excited to gain more experience and see what it''s really like to compete internationally."
