COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Each week during the 2019-20 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week. This week's Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week is senior Madison Maguire of field hockey.

Senior Madison Maguire had a stellar Senior Day as she led the Terps to a dominant 5-1 win over Michigan State and at least a share of their fifth Big Ten title in six years. She scored three goals for her second career hat trick. She added an assist for a career-best 7-point game. She scored her first of the game just 6:06 into the match when she grabbed a loose ball and slammed it into the bottom of the cage for the 1-0 win. In the 33rd minute, she sent a shot towards the far post and Mayv Clune deflected it in to make it a 3-0 game just before halftime. Just 5:24 into the third quarter, she scored the Terps' fourth goal. She added her third goal and the final goal of the night when she took a ball from fellow senior Kelee Lepage and sent in a rocket shot with under 7:00 to play.
